Cynthia is Executive Director of the Direction of Consumer Support at the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Industry of Costa Rica. While Alexandra is National Director of Standardization at the Institute of technical Standards of Costa Rica - INTECO. Andreas speaks to Cynthia and Alexandra about how the consumer voice is used in INTECO’s standards development process, the challenges that e-commerce presents for consumers, and how standards help protect consumer rights.
